Internship Experience
From Argentina to Dallas, I have gotten hands-on experience in the worlds of both business and fashion. Now, together with my classwork, I have been able to create a well-rounded knowledge of the fashion industry with a focus on business.

Nuevocentro Shopping
In the spring of 2024, in Córdoba, Argentina, I had the opportunity to work at Nuevocentro, one of the largest malls in the heart of the city. I worked directly with the head of the marketing department, contributing to various initiatives that strengthened the mall’s brand presence and engaged shoppers. I played a hands-on role in executing marketing campaigns, assisting with social media content creation, and supporting the production of commercials for TV, digital monitors, and billboards. Additionally, I was involved in Córdoba Fashion Week, where I helped facilitate event operations, transported garments, and attended shows. I also observed key rebranding meetings focused on developing a new tagline and social media strategy, gaining firsthand experience in strategic brand development and retail marketing.
Silvina Ledesma
During my Spring 2024 semester abroad, I worked at the headquarters of Silvina Ledesma, a renowned fashion brand with over 10,000 followers on Instagram, where garments are designed and produced from start to finish. In this role, I gained hands-on experience in the fashion production process, assisting with organizing orders and observing the workroom where skilled artisans brought designs to life. I witnessed the full design process, helped organize the showrooms, and contributed to social media efforts to promote the brand. Additionally, I took part in production by cutting fabric for garments, tagging items for retail locations in Córdoba and Buenos Aires, and supporting promotional initiatives for the store. This experience deepened my understanding of the fashion industry while allowing me to refine my communication skills by working exclusively in Spanish.

Mackenzie Brittingham Designs
During my internship with Mackenzie Brittingham Designs, the in-house designer for Stanley Korshak’s Bridal Salon in Dallas, Texas, I gained hands-on experience in the luxury fashion industry. Mackenzie Brittingham creates custom bridal gowns for Stanley Korshak brides while also designing her own collections, including fur, accessories, and custom evening and cocktail dresses. I first met her as a Dallas Symphony Debutante, when she brought my own gown design to life, and later joined her team as a fashion intern.
I worked with her during the Summer 2024, Christmas Break 2024-25, and will return for Summer 2025, assisting in various aspects of the business. My responsibilities include fabric selection and pickup, cutting and pinning fabric, dressing mannequins, and organizing store rooms. I also contribute to the brand’s marketing efforts, creating promotional materials for in-store and social media use, assisting with Shopify website design, and managing packaging and client relations. Additionally, I have participated in photo shoots to promote collections and have taken on problem-solving tasks to support the team’s workflow. This experience has given me a deep understanding of couture fashion, client relations, and the intricacies of running a high-end design business.
